We’re keeping the doors open for an evening of music in our newly opened spring season exhibitions.

Join students from UC School of Music as they create musical responses to ‘A way through’ - Colin McCahon’s Gate III. Become absorbed in the reverberant acoustic of the Ō Raki Mair Gallery while immersing yourself in one of McCahon's largest paintings.

In our Ō Raki North Gallery, John Scott Works by Auckland-based photographer David Straight will be open as well as Jasmine Togo-Brisby’s new moving image work From Bellies and Bones in our Ō Papa Ground Floor Gallery. Lux Espresso will be serving beer, wine and coffee along with made-to-order truffle fries and grazing boards for two.

Our friends at Christchurch Art Gallery and the Physics Room will be opening late too - check out their pages to see what they have on offer!

Wednesday 23 Sept, 5-8pm

Free entry - all welcome!
