As part of the process for creating Tia Barrett’s new exhibition at CoCA we invite you to join Tia’s whānau and friends and the CoCA team on a trip to collect the stones from Wairewa Birdlings Flat on Sunday 18th June.

We will meet at the beach with shovels and sacks to collect the stones, have some kōrero and kai and some time connecting with the whenua.

There are limited seats on a mini bus leaving from CoCA at 9.30. And we encourage car pooling for anyone who’d like to come. It’s essential to RSVP to this event so we can plan for catering and sort out a lift for anyone who’d like to come but doesn’t have transport. Please email sarah@coca.org.nz if you would like to join us.
