Talk with Turumeke Harrington, Piupiu Turei, Kommi Tamati Elliffe and Chloe Cull, Saturday 8 October, 2pm

In CoCA’s Ō Papa Gallery, artist Turumeke Harrington and curator Piupiu Turei will discuss the exhibition Gently Ribbed. They will be joined by Ōtautahi-based academic and collaborator Kommi Tamati Elliffe and educator and curator Chloe Cull.

Gently Ribbed is a playful installation by Harrington, presented with accompanying writing and discussion led by the curatorial collective Tini Whetū and collaborators. This exhibition takes Harrington's voluminous, snaking patchwork as an invitation to reflect on domestic labour, Māori cosmology and moving through life.
