Join artist Alix Ashworth for a workshop exploring colour, shapes, and patterns using Hama meltable beads. Their artwork, as part of Kia ora Whaea, inspired this workshop, with one of the “lines of communication” comprised of intricate designs using the same material. The artwork touches on how fluid, evolving, and playful people are. The artist invites viewers to find their interpretation and way of reading the artwork and creating their own piece, recognising the diversity of learning and communicating.
An invitation to slow down from our busy lives and find a flow through art making, this is a free drop-in session, appropriate for all ages. All materials provided.
