🎉Art-making workshop alert 🎉
Join Claudia Long on Saturday 14 March for a hands-on workshop, and learn about designing your own paste-ups. Using DIY methods like drawing, cutting and taping, you will create a two-layer paste-up composition, and then print it in colour using a Risograph printer.
All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own magazines or printed material you would like to add to your paste-up. Two sessions available: at 11am and 1 pm. Spaces are limited, bookings essential. Link in our bio to book.
“CHOMP: The Paste-ups of Earwig Magazine” features the magazine’s original paste-up artwork from the Heather Knowles Collection housed at Macmillan Brown Library, University of Canterbury. ‘Earwig’ is an underground magazine that was created by John Milne and published independently from 1969–1973.
“CHOMP: The Paste-ups of Earwig Magazine” is on until 29 March.
