Join emerging artists and One Wall participants, Lily Rose Claypole, Jamie Price, Anna Bruce and Sarah Rowlands in conversation.
Each artist brings a distinct lens to their work: Jamie Price seeks to understand and challenge his own positionality; Lily Rose’s work interrogates the body as a site of political and personal experience; Anna’s paintings capture how human relationships change in response to technological advancements; while Sarah’s practice interrogates the intersection of humanity and the natural environment.
One Wall supports a cohort of seven emerging Waitaha artists to showcase a piece that represents their practice. April to December, one artist + one wall + one work enables a rotation of local artists with diverse practices to share work with our Ōtautahi community.
This initiative is supported through the Christchurch City Council’s Creative Communities Scheme.
